Peng Liyuan unveils stamp sheet for China's disabled

Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, has unveiled a commemorative stamp sheet dedicated to China's disabled population.

The stamps were jointly issued by China and the United Nations. Peng was joined by Yoo Soon-taek -- wife of UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon -- at the unveiling ceremony. Peng said the move shows how much importance both sides lend to the lives of the disabled. She noted that both the Chinese government and society have achieved remarkable success in promoting their welfare.
