CCTV spoke to Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek about his views on global governance. Simsek emphasized the role of emerging market nations in the International Monetary Fund.

As the hosting nation for this year's G20 meeting, Turkey supports reforms on global governance at a faster pace.

Here is the country's stance on the quota reform of the International Monetary Fund.

G20 member countries have made structural reform measures last year. It's aimed to boost the group's growth by 2 percentage points by 2018.

To better implement reform measures, China proposed last month to establish an index system to quantify the progress of G20 member countries on their reform progress. The action aims to boost economic growth of emerging economies, as the pace of growth loses steam.
