President Xi's keynote speech has been met with positive responses.
An expert from the Southern African Research and Documentation Centre underlined China's contributions to development in Africa. He stressed that the mutual trust and respect advocated by Xi, is very important for China-Africa relations.
Speaking about the 10 key cooperation projects agreed on between the leaders, he said these will play a constructive role in attracting talents and educating people to promote Africa's prosperity.
Themed "Africa-China Progressing Together: Win-Win Cooperation for Common Development," the summit is the second of its kind under the 15-year-old framework of the cooperation forum. It brings together China, 50 African countries, and the African Union.
