Pandas enjoy first snow in Hangzhou

Vehicles with snowmen on the top, have become an extraordinary scene on the streets in Chongqing, southwestern China. 

Drivers say they were so excited to see snow in the city, the first befalling Chongqing since 1996. But police have warned that this is dangerous behavior. 

Pandas enjoy first snow in Hangzhou

Pandas soaking in the wintry fun, rolling, tumbling, and playing with each other. Two panda cubs at a zoo are enjoying the first snow of 2016 in Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang province.

Some areas of western Zhejiang have braved a snowfall of three centimeters. But this apparently does not deter the pandas from having fun.

108 ‘Water Margin’ heroes on eggs

108 heroes on egg shells: A man in his sixties, from Hunan province, has turned eggs into handicraft. He carved intricate portraits of 108 heroes on egg shells within 108 days. 

The heroes are the characters from ‘Water Margin,’ one of the four great classical novels of the Chinese literature. In addition to portraits, birds and flowers are also featured on his handmade eggs.
