Monkeys at Singapore Zoo were presented with traditional festive red envelopes packed with their favorite treats.

“The main purpose is actually to keep them mentally and physically stimulated, to encourage them to actually display their natural behaviors as they would do in the wild,” said Wei Qian, wildlife reserve senior education executive.

The Year of the Monkey will start February 8.
