White tiger cubs meet the public

A pair of white tigers rock the zoo in Qingdao, eastern Shandong Province. The two tiger cubs, born in July, have made their first public appearance during the Spring Festival.

One of them is snow white with tiger's stripes, while the other one is almost completely stripeless. This coloring is a result of genetic defects, and only one in one hundred thousand tigers would be born this way. The rare type of tiger has also drawn a large amount of visitors to the zoo.
