In 2010, many children passed through one dreamscape after another in the Shanghai Expo Park. They will always remember this experience.I was one of these children.
When I was a child, my father told me a story. There was a kind of trap for catching monkeys. A hunter picked out the pulp and juice of a coconut
and fixed it with a rope. A small hole was cut into the coconut and some food was put in. The hole was just big enough for a monkey to stretch its empty hand through the hole, but it couldn??t pull out its hand if it held anything in its hand. A monkey smelt the food and extended its hand to take it. Naturally it couldn??t pull out its hand holding the food. When the hunter came, the money was panic-stricken, but it couldn??t escape. The money was caught because it was greedy. If it gave up the food, it could save itself. A scientist said that the human race has genes that make us desire quick results and instant profits, as well as genes of selflessness and fraternity. We can learn to look at the world with greater farsightedness, learn to live in a simple way, and learn to respect all life around us. In fact, the history of the expos is a course of the human race ceaselessly understanding and correcting itself. Seventy years have passed. I will never forget the true stories of the Shanghai Expo in 2010.
