Senegalese News Minister Visits CCTV

On Jul. 22, Vice Editor-in-Chief Li Ting met with Mustapha•Jilashi, Minister of the Ministry of News, Minister of Ministry of Telecom of Senegal & Spokesman of Senegalese government. Li Ting said that, CCTV had always actively expanded the communication with foreign countries and intensified reportage on Africa; the cooperation and communication between Chinese and African media played a positive role in changing the world’s media pattern monopolized by western powers. In addition, he introduced CCTV and expected Mr. Jilashi to grant support for the settlement of CCTV French Channel in Senegal. Jilashi indicated that, the media from both parties should enhance cooperation and present the true situation to the world. After the meeting, Jilashi was interviewed by CCTV French Channel.
