Overview of the Center
China Central Television Advertising Center (CCTV Advertising Center) is responsible for unified operation and management of advertising at CCTV-owned open-circuit channels. Established in July 2010 based on the management structure of the original CCTV Advertising Department, CCTV Advertising Center adheres to the principles of optimal process, scientific framework and sound system with the goal of high efficiency, and is composed of four departments, namely the Integrated Department, the Marketing Department, the Sales Department and the Supervision Department, and 14 divisions.
Responsibilities of the Center
Main responsibilities of the CCTV Advertising Center include: research of development and operation strategies for CCTV advertising; planning and implementation of public relations communication and marketing activities; establishment of product system, price system, customer system and channel system of CCTV advertising; and safety in broadcasting of advertising at various channels.

Setup and Responsibilities of Various Departments under the Center
1. Integrated Department
Integrated Department is composed of Secretariat Division, Operation Division and Contract Management Division.
Main responsibilities of the Integrated Department include: being responsible for integrated administration of the CCTV Advertising Center, including official document processing, information transfer, management of human, financial and material resources, technical system maintenance, advertising contract management and work related to the Communist Party, the government, the labor union and the Communist Youth League.
2. Marketing Department
Marketing Department is composed of Strategy Research Division, Public Relations Communication Division and Promotion Division.
Main responsibilities of the Marketing Department include: research of development and operation strategies of CCTV advertising, as well as organization and implementation of public relations communication activities, to maintain and improve the brand image of CCTV advertising operations, and boost advertising sales; and planning and implementation of marketing campaigns to enhance face-to-face communication with advertisers and all sectors of the community, and promote advertising sales.
3. Sales Department
Sales Department is composed of Products Division, Client Service Division I, Customer Service Division Ⅱ, Channel Operating Division I and Channel Operating Division Ⅱ.
Main responsibilities of the Sales Department include: innovation of advertising product design to establish product system and price system of CCTV advertising; comprehensive marketing, service and management of CCTV advertisers from two dimensions, namely enterprise and agency; and advertising marketing and management at CCTV-1 and other professional channels.
4. Supervision Department
Supervision Department is composed of Examination Division, Editing and Broadcasting Division and Broadcasting Supervision Division.
Main responsibilities of the Supervision Department include: being responsible for the reviewing, editing and broadcasting of advertising at CCTV-owned open-circuit channels to ensure advertisements published by CCTV to be in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and social morality; and also being responsible for settlement and re-check of advertising contracts, as well as monitoring and feedback of advertising broadcasting, to play the role of internal supervision and counterbalance.
