South Africa banknotes to feature Mandela

South Africa's reserve bank has unveiled new banknotes for the rand, bearing the image of Former President Nelson Mandela. The currency will be printed later this year to mark the anniversary of Mandela’s 1990 release from prison.  Full Story>>

The new South African bank note of 20 rand is displayed on a screen during the announcement of a new line of bank notes in Pretoria. South Africa launched a new line of bank notes bearing the image of its first democratically elected president Nelson Mandela on the 22nd anniversary of his release from prison.
