UN fails to solve Syrian crisis: British Foreign Secretary

UN-Arab League envoy Kofi Annan has arrived in Ankara on the latest stage of his diplomatic mission to end the fighting in Syria. Over the weekend, Annan held talks with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as well as leading opposition figures in Damascus. Ahead of a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, Annan told reporters that a strong message must be sent to Syria that the killing of civilians should stop. Full Story>>
