The Ivorian is on a two and a half year contract with the Chinese outfit and has so far scored five goals in seven games. Drogba joined Shenhua after an eight year stint with European champions Chelsea.

He admitted to missing the English Premier league calling it the best league in the world but says he doesn't regret his choice to move. Shenhua has been hit by boardroom struggles with reports of financial instability leading to suggestions that the Ivorian captain could be eyeing a move back to the EPL.
