Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak is in Washington to meet with his US counterpart Leon Panetta.

The focus of their discussions will be on Iran and what to do about Tehran's alleged nuclear weapons program.

While the two allies agree that Iran should not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons, there are deep divisions on how to deal with the issue.

As well as Ehud Barak, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet US President Barack Obama on March 5th, and Israeli President Shimon Peres will also go to the US.
