European Union foreign ministers are expected to discuss the Syria crisis when they meet in Brussels on Friday. For a preview, let's speak to our correspondent Jack Barton in Brussels.

Q1: The EU has slapped a series of sanctions on Syria, have they been effective and are there plans to add more?
