China calls for better security to Chinese nationals in Canada

A spokesman from China's Consulate-General in Montreal has urged Canadian authorities to begin judicial procedures towards trying Magnotta as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the spokesman called for better security measures to be adopted by local police to protect the personal safety of Chinese nationals in Canada.
