A fire has broken out at a warehouse used by the U.N.’s refugee agency in Peshawar, Pakistan. Fire fighters took 6 hours to put out the blaze after it spread quickly. No casualties were reported but thousands of tents being stored for relief work were destroyed.

Local media said the fire was likely caused by sparks produced by welders working at the warehouse. The UN agency has helped repatriate Afghan refugees in Pakistan. It is at the forefront of relief efforts to help people displaced by fighting between security forces and Taliban insurgents in the north west of the country.
