A blaze has broken out in a 12-storey building housing four garment factories in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Fire department officials said there were no casualties.

The blaze came two days after another garment-factory fire in the city that killed at least 124 people. Investigators suspect that a short circuit caused that fire. The recent incidents have highlighted unsafe conditions in an industry rushing to produce for major retailers around the world.

Some 200 factories were closed for the day after a protest erupted in Savar, the industrial zone where Saturday’s deadly fire occurred. Protesters blocked a major highway. The government announced that Tuesday will be a day of national mourning, with the national flag flying at half-mast.
