The UK's service sector has enjoyed good growth during the second quarter. It's experiencing the largest rate of growth for two years, and twice what it was last year. But according to an official report, the rise is unlikely to continue. This is especially in light of the UK government's decision to cut back on public service spending by 25 percent.
The British Chambers of Commerce says the impact of this on the economy and jobs is likely to be seen later this year, and early next year prompting fears of a double dip.
