China's Central Bank says it will maintain an appropriately loose monetary policy, but will use its various monetary policy tools flexibly.
During a summary meeting of the second quarter, the lender said the global economy is gradually recovering but uncertainties remain. As for China, the domestic economy is heading in the right direction as expected. But many difficult tasks remain ahead, to control inflation and upgrade the development pattern.
The bank also said it will continue loose monetary policy in the second half of this year and improve the Renminbi's exchange rate mechanism. It will adjust its value against a basket of foreign currencies.
