Three mainland companies have already filed applications to hold events and exhibitions in Taiwan. Events companies from Taiwan have already been largely successful in the Asian market. But the island's authorities hope the local industry can learn even more from mainland companies.
The Taiwan events industry is particularly interested in the management experience of its mainland counterparts. The Taiwan authorities hope to attract more than 4 billion new Taiwan dollars in events industry investment, from the mainland this year.
