Malaysia Airlines will invest almost 100 million U.S. dollars in streamlining operations, to maximize business efficiency.
The Enterprise Resource Planning system will be implemented in phases, to centralize all data and boost the airlines' ability to obtain real-time information. The carrier says it will be more cost efficient, improve decision-making and employee productivity.
The airline has selected HCL Axon and SAP to integrate its finance procurement and human resource functions. A number of stand-alone systems will also be replaced by more advanced solutions. The total benefit expected from the project, is estimated at more than 37 million U.S. dollars per annum.
