Hunan, Guangdong send purchase delegations to Taiwan

Two mainland provinces, Hunan and Guangdong, will send delegations to Taiwan in August to deepen communication with the island.

Led by the deputy party secretary of Hunan, the province's delegation will arrive in the island on August the second. It will pay visits to local companies, where there are likely to be deals made to purchase electronics and agricultural products among other things.

The delegation from Guangdong will attend special events, from August 16th to the 21st. The Guangdong delegation is likely to spend 4.3 billion US dollars, breaking the record of 4.1 billion made by Jiangsu Province last year.
