Economists comment on new guidelines on private investment

Now here's brief look of what some other economists' think about the new guidelines.

--Government can promote private investment injected into affordable housing construction, by putting in leading capital and providing plans and policies.

Zuo Xiaolei, Chief Economist of Galaxy Securities

--Loosening policies on private investment is an important change. Before, some industries had very high barriers for private investment. But now it's been lowered and the openness of private investment will help contribute to economic growth.

Sun Lijian, Vice Dean of Fudan University School of Economics

--Promoting private investment will encourage competition. This will help the structural imbalance caused by monopolies, making the economic structure more balanced.
