China's Finance Minister says the country will continue its proactive fiscal policy in the second half of this year, to speed up its ongoing economic restructuring.
Xie Xuren says local authorities should give more attention to quickening the pace of economic restructuring. He also says China will continue its efforts to boost domestic demand, especially consumption. He lists continuous financial support for agricultural production, technological innovation and energy saving, and emission cutting projects as being key to development.
China's fiscal revenue rose nearly 30 percent year on year in the first half of this year, and the total volume of social retail also shared the upward trend.
