Taiwan authorities and the local federation of industries have held a fair in Beijing, in a bid to attract more investment from the mainland.
It's the largest scale event of its kind organized by the Taiwan authorities, since it signed the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement with the Chinese mainland.
The fair is hoping to attract the mainland's rubber, plastic, IT and textiles manufacturers. It's drumming up business by providing more preferential policies. The fair will also be held in Tianjin and Wuhan.
