For more insight on China's latest consumer confidence report, we now on the line Mitch Barns, president of Nielsen in Greater China. He's just attended the press conference held by the National Bureau of Statistics.

1 China's consumer confidence continues to grow. How do you interpret the strong momentum when the economy is showing signs of a slowdown? How do you gauge the figure in the global arena?

2 China has tried to stimulate consumption in rural areas. The latest consumer confidence figures seems to verify those efforts. What are your opinions?
