Japan's government is looking to work with the Bank of Japan, to respond to the sharp rise in the yen against the dollar.
Japanese Economics Minister Satoshi says the government is in discussions with the Bank of Japan on the yen rise. He will be watching whether the yen increase may prevent a self-sustaining economic recovery.
The yen rose to a 15-year high this month against the U.S. dollar, threatening to damage exports and derail Japan's fragile economic recovery.
