Shares of AgBank have managed to maintain above its IPO price during the month since it went public, although it fell nearly to the line several times.

But from today, its share price will lose protection from the green-shoe option, as the bank has fully completed the option. The market has been concerned AgBank's share price will fall to below its IPO price.

In the morning session, AgBank shares opened at its IPO price of 2.68 yuan per share - down 0.4 percent - but soon recovered to positive territory. But some analysts have pointed out that if the share price drops, the regulator might have to slow the pace of new IPOs coming out.
