Central Huijin has become the largest shareholder of China International Capital Corporation, or CICC. Central Huijin now has shares in or controls five securities companies.
On August 13th, the investment company was approved to be the largest stakeholder of CICC. It holds about 43 percent of its shares. But the proportion of other shareholders remains the same. Central Huijin presently holds four securities, Galaxy, Shenyin & Wanguo, China Jianyin Investment and CICC. It also owns more than 20 percent of shares in Guotai Jun-An Securities.
