China's industrial profits grew over 60 percent in the first seven months, from a year earlier.
The National Bureau of Statistics released the figures this morning. That marked a sharp slowdown from the annual increase of 72 percent in the first half. The figures refer to profits of companies in 24 provinces and regions, whose revenues account for 82 percent of all firms nationwide.
