The sixth Jilin Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo opened today in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province in China. Government officials and companies from different countries such as Japan and Russia will attend the fair to seek cooperative opportunities.
Financial institutions, purchasing managers and trade organizations were invited. Organizers say they aim to deepen economic cooperation within Northeast Asia and with other parts of the world.
The Northeast Asia region makes up about a fifth of the world's total GDP. The region is closely-linked by resources, technology and markets.
