The National Bureau of Statistics is pledging to create an even better method, of surveying and calculating housing prices in China. The new method will be offered for public opinion before October. The updated method is expected to be implemented next year.
Bureau Chief Ma Jiantang, says the agency will continue to look into the status quo with regard to the highly debated figure of vacant property. It will make use of the investigation into China's demographic figure, to gather information about vacancy rates. It will also conduct case studies on residential districts.
