How wealthy are the GEM company founders?

China's Growth Enterprise Market has developed rapidly in the year since its inception. And as a result it's created hundreds of multi-millionaires. So far there are 117 companies listed on the market.

At present, about 152 founders hold direct shares in their companies. The aggregate market value of those companies is close to 130 billion yuan -- about 20 percent of the total value of the GEM board. 150 of those founders now have wealth worth more than 100 million and 39 of those hold shares at market value in excess of one billion yuan. A further 13 have more than 2 billion yuan.

The average market value per founder, has reached 850 million yuan. The title of richest GEM company founder switches quickly. But by far, Wu Jianlong is the richest.
