Chrysler has filed a recall request to China's product quality regulator. It wants to recall some of its 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sport Utilities, due to problems with the braking system.
The two models concerned are the 3.8 litre Jeep Wrangler, and the 3.8 litre Wrangler Unlimited, produced between April 22nd and May 19th this year. The defect could cause brakes to become weaker, or even fail.
Chrysler will take full responsibility for repairs. Related owners can call customer service on 400-650-0118 or log on to www.dpac.gov.cn for more information.
