China has become Africa's largest trading partner. That's according to an annual report on Sino-Africa trade and economy, released by the Ministry of Commerce.
Sino-Africa trade volumes exceeded 91 billion US dollars in 2009. The cooperation pattern between China and Africa is becoming more multi-layered. The two sides have cooperated in investment, infrastructure construction and assistance.
Until August this year, a total of more than 2000 Chinese companies had been established in Africa. Over the past decade, Sino-Africa trade volumes have risen ten fold.
