Huawei tops China's e-info company

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has unveiled a list of the country's top 100 electric information firms in 2011. Huawei Technology comes out on top as the top Chinese electric information firm of the year.

It's followed by home-appliance maker Haier, and computer giant Lenovo. The top 10 companies also include computer maker Great-wall Technology, mobile phone maker ZTE and home-appliance maker Hisense.

Figures provided by the ministry show total business revenue of the 100 companies reached more than 1.5 trillion yuan so far in 2011, more than 20 percent more compared with the same period last year. Total business revenue of the top three companies reached more than 100 billion yuan. The list also shows companies in the renewable energy sectors are seeing strong growth momentum.
