HK CE Tsang: HK to benefit C. gov't latest measures

The Vice Premier Li Keqiang's keynote speech delivered earlier on Wednesday has been applauded by Hong Kong society.

Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, says the new supporting measures to be announced by the central government will cover on a wide range of sectors. Meanwhile, representatives from many other industries in the region also voiced their support.

Elsie Leung Oi-sie, Deputy Director of HKSAR Basic Law Committee of NPC Standing Committee said, "In terms of the 12th Five Year Program, we have this high-level leader's explanation. And he referred to a lot of good news, such as how to develop Hong Kong as a renminbi offshore center and speed up the development of the services sector. Those moves are very encouraging to us."

Tsang Chiming, CEO of Goldlion Holding Ltd. said, "I believe what matters to a country is the development of its whole society. It's important to show that our leaders are thinking about the improvement of people's livelihoods and development. It's vital."
