To elsewhere in the region now, and some good news on the inflation front in South Korea. The country's consumers' inflation expectation rate fell for a second consecutive month, to a four-month low in November. The Bank of Korea says the latest data bodes well for already-easing price pressures.

According to the central bank’s survey, the median consumer inflation expectation rate for the next 12 months eased to 4.1 percent in November, from 4.2 in October. That’s the lowest since July this year.

Meanwhile, the rate is still above the four percent ceiling of the central bank’s inflation target band, and also higher than actual consumer price growth in October.

Analysts say, price pressures will ease gradually, and South Koreans are relatively confident about the local economic impact from the eurozone crisis.
