The U.S. will export 46 high-tech products to China, some not requiring export licenses under a simplified process. That’s according to the U.S. Ambassador to China Gary Locke speaking at a lecture in Shanghai this week.
The Ambassador also noted, the bilateral relationship is entering a new phase. He called for strengthened bilateral collaboration to produce benefits in the areas of jobs, prosperity and security in both countries.
Locke also stressed the importance of a level playing field for healthy competition between Chinese and American companies.
