10-15-2013 17:06 BJT

Osborne said the UK is preparing to make Chinese travelling to the UK much easier. The move is a long awaited one, as various UK officials have complained that UK visas are too difficult to obtain, and advocated for simpler application procedures.

"Osborne, who made the announcement on his China trip, also said the UK will allow selected Chinese travel agents to apply for UK visas by simply submitting the application form used for the EU Schengen visa. Patricia Yates, Dir. of Strategy and Communication of British Tourist Authority said.
