06-12-2012 11:13 BJT

Apple is looking to stay a step ahead of the competition with its latest array of products. They came from all over the world, more than willing to pay the 16-hundred dollar price of admission.

Thousands of developers lined up eager to get a jump on designing software for Apple Products. They didn’t have to wait long for the new display of gadgetry to come. Among them, a new MacBook Pro with Apple’s ultra-sharp “retina” display – the same screen featured in the new iPad, which offers the highest resolution of any tablet on the market.

Dylan Tweney, VentureBeat Executive Editor, FULL SOT: “The pixel density is so high that if you are just sitting at the computer working, your eye can’t detect it. That gives developers an awful lot of screen real estate to work with. So that will be pretty impressive.”

Apple unveiled its new iOS 6 operating system for mobile devices and its new Mountain Lion OS-ten operating system for desktop and laptops. CEO Tim cook also emphasized Apple’s global expansion.

Tim Cook, Apple CEO says, “The App Store operates in 120 countries around the world. And I’m pleased to announce that beginning after this month, we’re adding an additional 32 countries so you can sell your apps in an additional 155 countries”.

Apple unveiled better Chinese input methods, Chinese character recognition and support for the Chinese search engine, Baidu, as well as for a handful of Chinese e-mail services. Dylan Tweney, VentureBeat Editor says, “One of the standout markets for them is China.

So both iOS and OSX have lots of features that are aimed at the Chinese market. That includes integration with lots of Chinese services like YOKU, Tudou and Sina.com email, so it shows they really take this market seriously.”
