In the Shanghai World Expo park, the Australian Pavilion enables people to share the best of the country's innovation and creativity. Visitors to the site, will find themselves participating in a unique journey through film, appropriately entitled "Discover".

The section in Australia Pavilion, titled "Discover" features a "one thousand" seat circular theater. With high and new technologies, it will offer an audio-visual banquet. A 15 minute film will give a vivid presentation of a vibrant modern city.

A visitor said, "Both the design and the video and audio effect of the pavilion are very good."

The giant theater can hold almost 1 thousand people at a time. In line with the theme of discovering, it explores the Expo theme, "Better City, Better life" through the eyes of children.

Peter Ford, the Australian film director says they first talked about the feasibility of technology and then worked out the concept of film. They had the technology first and then made up the story. The film was created for the World Expo. The audience cannot find a second cinema anywhere else in the world.

Some audience members are amazed as huge screens are raised and lowered from the stage showing beautiful images of Australia's major cities, as well as some not-so-urban areas.
