The recent heat wave is hitting Taiwan as well as the mainland. Not only people are suffering through the high temperatures, but pets too. Pets owners are doing their best to keep their little friends cool.

Many people are flocking to their local pet store to have their animals shaved. There are several pets waiting in the queue.

A pets store employee said, "We have doubled our usual number of customers because the holiday is coming. People have more time to bring their dogs here. "

People love to beat the heat with ice cream or a popsicle, here they give dogs frozen sausages.

A employee said,"This is a kind of iced meat. In summer, feeding the dogs ice meat will improve their appetite. "

The heat wave is forcing everyone to find different ways to keep cool, and some business are booming because of the heat, just like this pets store.
