Updates: China, EU reach consensus on both relations

China and the European Union have held their fifth strategic dialogue in Guiyang, capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province. The two sides reached consensus on China-EU relations and discussed promoting understanding of China's development. Full Story>>

For more analysis on the strategic dialogue between China and the European Union we're joined by Professor Liu Baocheng, from the University of International Business and Economics.

1: Good evening, Professor Liu. This is the first meeting after the China-EU dialogue mechanism was upgraded from the vice-ministerial to the ministerial level. What is the significance of the upgrade, judging from the results of this session?

2: China-EU relations are very important on the world stage. What do you see for the future of relations between the two sides?
