794.8 mln cellphone users so far in China

To what extent will the policy effect you and China's telecommunication industry? Here are some figures to help you better understand that.

As of July 2010, China had 794.8 million cellphone users, twice what it was in 2005. The three biggest telecom operators in China are China Mobile, China Unicom and China telecom. Official data shows in the first half of the year, mobile users in China on average received 43.3 messages per week. 12 of those were spam. Three-quarters of users surveyed received messages involving fraud.
