For those of you who like pandas there's an opportunity for you to spend a year with the animals. Chengdu Panda Base is teaming up with the World Wide Fund For Nature for this special program. They are seeking six panda enthusiasts to be "world spokespersons" for the protection of giant pandas.

American Christina is a writer. She loves China and is crazy about pandas.

Ting is from Belgium, she loves raising animals very much.

Chinese applicant Lidan is also showing her great affection towards pandas.

Li Dan, Chengdu Television Station, said, "I hope I will finally become one of the six Pambassadors, and fulfill my duties."

Up to now, nearly 30-thousand applicants from more than one hundred countries have applied online.

The Pambassadors will form a close bond with six pandas at the Base, immersing themselves in the daily work such as feeding and training.

They will also have the chance to participate in multiple scientific research projects and witness the return of Giant Pandas to their natural habitat.

Yang Kuixing, Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Center, said, "They will see how pandas give birth to panda cubs and how they grow up everyday. They will also know something mysterious that can't be revealed to the public."

Panda, Meilan is among the six pandas. She's the ambassador to Earth Hour.

Tang Juwen, keeper of Panda Meilan, said, "Meilan is our Base's star panda. She is very cute and she eats very slowly, like a gentlewoman."

Meanwhile, Panda Qiqi loves running in the garden and playing with the keepers.

Li Jia, keeper of Panda QiQi, said, "The happiest time of day for me is to run with Panda Qiqi on the playground and feed it apples and milk. I guess you will surely love this panda."

The Pambassador Program's application will close on Monday at midnight. So please hurry up applying online if you're a indeed panda lover.
