Muslims around China celebrating Corban Festival

Muslims around China are now celebrating their largest festival of the year - the Corban Festival. In Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous region, Muslims have begun to celebrate the big event.

Cookies and snacks are baked in every family one day in advance to serve guests. Men get up early in the morning to prepare themselves before going to a mosque to pray. As a tradition, people will also slaughter animals for sacrifice.

Meanwhile in supermarkets and bazaars, abundant festival goods are stocked on store shelves. The Corban Festival is the largest annual celebration for Muslims all over the world.
