So Disneyland is coming to Shanghai and instead of going overseas, mainland visitors will soon be able to spend some quality time at China's own version of the world's favorite fairy-tale park.

Zhao Yunjie takes a look at some of the infrastructure that will need to be put in place, to deal with the huge number of visitors.

At last Mickey Mouse will soon be saying hi to the Mainland.

But how will the thousands of visitors make the journey to meet the 83 year old icon?

I prefer direct metro lines.

And what else are people looking for?

I want clean, cozy hotel rooms.

And keep the price low!

After receiving millions of visitors during last year's World Expo, Shanghai has a good understanding of visitor's needs. And the city knows what it must do to keep things moving smoothly, when Disneyland comes to town.

Prof. Xia Lingen, Tourism Dep't, Fudan Univ., said, "The rush hours will be around 8 am and 5 pm. So we must build direct metro lines right into the theme park."

Two metro lines will service the park.

As part of the first phase of the project, line 11 is already under construction. And a special branch will be built later, from the nearby station in Pudong for Line 2.

The project also leaves plenty of building space for nearby hotels and metro stations.

Prof. Xia Lingen, Tourism Dep't, Fudan Univ., said, "The theme park is practically an industry. Related recreation and accommodation facilities must all be built."

Shanghai Disneyland was approved in November 2009, as the third Disney theme park in Asia, after Tokyo and Hong Kong.

It's hoped it will attract 10 million visitors a year.
