Archeologists in northwest China's Shaanxi Province are about to open an ancient tomb, dating back some two-thousand years, in the southern suburbs of the provincial capital Xi'an.

A special camera will first be used to examine the inside of the tomb, where archeologists have found some beautiful lacquers.

The color of the artwork hasn't faded at all despite the long history. So far, they've cleaned the passage leading to the tomb entrance and extracted the air from the tomb.

This grave, along with 13 other tombs of various sizes, belongs to the family of Western Han Dynasty minister Zhang Anshi, whose family members were in top positions for nearly 2-hundred years.

Fortunately, this tomb, marked number 13 in the complex, remains the only one which has not been plundered.
