Ten years on, and going strong. The annual Boao Forum for Asia has become a platform for different voices on the pressing issues in the Asian region and the world.

This year's theme is "Inclusive Development: Common Agenda and New Challenges". Discussions focus on ways to achieve more balanced development to benefit more people.

Zhou Wenzhong, General Secretary, Boao Forum for Asia, said, "Inclusive growth requires cooperation and communication. We have to achieve win-win results, to maximize mutual benefit and properly deal with disputes. "

For two days, more than two thousand participants from over 40 countries shared their vision on issues, including inclusive growth, China's twelfth five-year plan, and the outlook of the world economy.

Yasuo Fukuda, Chiarman of Boao Board of Directors, said, "The forum has focused on the pressing issues facing the Asian economies and how they would develop, as well as what role they are playing in the global economy. It's the responsibility and vision of an international forum."

In its initial years, the Boao Forum tried to show the world more of Asia. Now, it focuses more on how Asia will adapt to the constantly changing global economic situation.

A decade later, the Boao Forum continues to be a strong voice from Asia to be heard by the world.
